AXA Business Services - P&C Actuaries - Actuarial Services Team

Process Brief :

- Actuarial Services team in AXA Business Services (AXA BS) was established in 2005 to provide value added actuarial support to different AXA entities globally

- This team is a part of the Analytics Centre of Excellence at AXA BS

- Over the years-the team has evolved into firmly establishing itself as an integral part of different AXA group entities

- The team today is involved in serving the AXA operating companies across both Life insurance and Property & Casualty insurance

- The team has now embarked on the next growth phase entailing new opportunities identification and converting proof of concepts into new engagement support services for AXA BS

Position Summary :

- The resource would be a key member of the Actuarial Services team and would work in close collaboration with teams in AXA entities

- Candidate is expected to work on multiple analytics projects for Non-Life insurance related to Pricing/ Valuation/ Claim Analysis and other Actuarial Projects for the team.

- The role may involve doing independent analysis or supporting senior consultants as per project requirements

- Play a critical role in Non-Life Actuarial support platform servicing various AXA Group entities

- Fortify existing AXA BS Actuarial practice supporting globally where AXA has a presence across Property & Casualty domains

Key Accountability :

- Interacting with clients on regular basis, understanding their requirements and transforming them into a solution framework.

- Working on all the aspects of actuarial projects involving pricing, SAS analysis and final presentation

- Pricing of Motor & Household portfolio for retail line of business using tools like, Emblem and Rate Assessor

- Independently analyzing project requirements to own and deliver pilot projects / initiatives with very high quality to establish support credibility with AXA Group entities

- Become a trusted partner for AXA Group entities - engage for capability showcase including visiting entities for opportunity assessment, discussions and piloting solutions

- Understanding business problems and translate the business information into dynamic and effective reports or dashboards to generate meaningful business insights

Position Related Experience :

- Student Member of Actuarial Society (India/UK/SOA)

- Knowledge of Emblem/ Rate Assessor/ Other Actuarial tools

- Experience in SAS/ SQL/ VBA is desired

- Good understanding of P&C Actuarial concepts - for Pricing, Reserving and Valuation

- 1+ years of work experience in Non-Life Insurance in Actuarial domain

- Should be in a position to provide technical guidance to the P&C insurance team and be able to resolve any issues that arise so that deliverable are met

Position Related Experience :
