AXA Business Services - Financial Controller Support Functions - IC Role (5-10 yrs)
Job Title : Financial Controller Support Functions (Individual Contributor)
Job Purpose : To be the Finance Business Partner of Support Functions and Expertise ( Expense Controllers)
Key Accountabilities
- Contribute to the Monthly Finance Dashboard for AXA IM Management Board: be responsible for following and commenting on various transversal lines of expenses at AXA IM level, for which Support Function, Expertise & Global COO is champion (Insurance fees, Auditor fees, Operational Gains and Losses, Other Exceptional Items... )
- Deliver the monthly cost dashboard (expenses and staff) to the business with comments to help them understanding the evolution of their activity: producing figures and running a precise analysis on expense by nature and by business centers
- Contribute to the monthly closings providing control and analysis of the figures for the monthly financial reporting production
Interact with local accounting teams
Produce monthly Business dashboard and help them to follow their activity
Deliver monthly cost dashboard and analysis for the follow up of spending
Provide ad hoc analysis to our internal clients (business plan,- )
Participate to the different projects on going which impacts the perimeter
- Ensure budget process
Help in various Forecast, Budgets exercises throughout the year, to support the business build the figures, provide and gather information
Coordinate and facilitate the process of bottom-up Forecast and Budget in connection with the rest of the MI team and the business.
- Participate actively (along with other MI team members involved) to the set-up of new requirements, projects and MI Expertise & Client Group team's Road Map
- Participate to the various budgets and forecast exercises throughout the year, gather and provide information to each Department and consolidate figures (staff and expenses). The exercises are the Budgets, the Strategic Plan and beyond and other deliverables to the Management Board and Axa Group.
- Follow-up of the TSF (Trading & Securities Financing) activity: understand the activity; be able to analyse the figures reported in FMR (Essbase/ SmartView) and in Frisbe, for actuals, forecast and budget.
- Contribute and participate to the ad hoc transversal projects of Finance & Strategy.
- Be the key contact inside Finance department for Support Functions, Expertise Global COO and General Management: collect information, run ad hoc expenses studies and check that expenses are reported in the correct nature of charges.
Education/Qualifications
- B.Com, M.Com, MBA Finance, CA Inter, a specialisation in accounting, financial controlling or audit would be a plus.
Experience
- Previous related experience (7-8 years): experience in financial controlling or reporting would be an advantage
Knowledge and Skills
- English is mandatory
- Good proficiency in Ms Office: Excel, Access & Powerpoint. Knowledge of Hyperion Essbase
