AVP/VP - Industrial Relations - Oil & Gas/Power (20-25 yrs)

Role Summary:

Responsible for union and associations interfacing, compliance with statutory bodies such as PF, Gratuity, Pension etc., maintaining cordial industrial relations, resolving employee grievances and queries, ensuring employee discipline and motivation.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Responsible for all activities related to personnel establishment such as maintenance & implementation of service rules, grievance redressal, attendance, wages etc.

2. Responsible for understanding various SLA contracts and thereby improving the Organisation efficiency the same.

3. Responsible for handling various types of contractual manpower.

4. Responsible for Optimisation of manpower and Cost by enhancing the employee productivity.

5. Responsible for productive and effective interfacing with multiple unions and associations to drive the management interests.

6. Responsible for cordial industrial relations, liaison with various Govt. Agencies etc.

7. Responsible for converging Business plan into IR Strategy and driving it to meet organizational objectives.

8. Responsible for enforcing statutory compliances, maintenance of related records & documents and filling of their returns.

9. Responsible for resolving employee grievances as per the policy guidelines and Govt. Regulations.

10. Responsible for reducing administrative costs & preparing cost reduction plans & implementing the same.

11. Responsible for providing various MIS related reports & information etc.

12. Perform all related administrative jobs to ensure smooth functioning of the department.

Position Requirements:

Essential Qualification: Management Post Graduate from a recognized institute

Preferred Additional Qualification: Masters in Social Welfare / Industrial Relations

Functional Knowledge & Experience Required Over 20 years of experience in HR function in various capacities with atleast 10 years experience in handling employee relations in a Brown field (multiple culture) organization
