About our Client - Our clients is one of the largest global Banks with demonstrated strengths across Corporate Banking, Consumer Banking and Investment Banking. They are looking for a AVP/VP- Data Scientist who will be formulating the machine learning framework for the bank and working on niche assignments across functions.
Job Description : You will be managing the entire data scientist function and responsible for the following:
- Collaborate with business teams to understand the challenges and innovatively come up with solutions to meet their requirements
- Institutionalize the domain knowledge by producing patentable solutions for the organization
- Keep abreast of the latest developments in the analytic space across industries for potential uses
The Successful Candidate : As a successful applicant, you are required to have :
- 5-8 years of experience in the field of advanced quantitative techniques
- Proven ability in model building and application experience in data mining techniques and tools (SAS and/or other modeling packages like R, Matlab, Mathematica, ILOG, etc.)
