AVP/VP - Credit Analysis - BFSI

Position: AVP/VP - Credit Analysis

Role:

- Undertake fundamental credit analysis on an existing portfolio of corporate credit counterparties across the EME, US and APAC regions

- Prepare annual credit reviews for submission to senior Risk Officers and Credit Committee

- Perform credit analysis on interim requests for credit facility amendments, and prepare analysis in support of interim headroom requests, for presentation to senior Risk officers for approval

- Undertake quarterly reviews on more complex and higher risk groups, including reporting on corporate credit counterparties which have been determined to merit more frequent credit review

- Liaising and communicating with other departments to ensure documentation requirements are met

- On-going monitoring of portfolio of industries for material developments affecting credit quality and the initiation of appropriate action

- Assist and support onshore teams in the preparation of periodic portfolio reviews

- Manage the team, conduct performance appraisal among team members, ongoing team development and training and retention

Requirements:

- MBA/ CA with 8+ yrs of credit analysis and reviews in a bank/ captive, preferably in an international banking environment

- Knowledge of several industries and experience of EME, US and APAC economy cycles

- Proven track record in technical credit skills, including working knowledge of accounting (IFRS and US GAAP preferred)

- Knowledge of several Sectors / industries

- Team management experience

- Good Communication and Relationship Management Skills
