Technical Recon Analyst

- The candidate will work with the other Technical Analysts on the Global Recon Team to design, validate, build, test, and implement the project. Desired Skill sets are:

Required:

- Strong technical developer with 8-12 years of experience.

- Strong knowledge of Python is mandatory.

- Strong background in at least one major programming language like C++, Java and exposure to scripting languages like perl, shell is desirable

- Exposure and working experience of Agile software development will be huge plus

- Expert in SQL with skills in creating SQL objects like Tables, Stored Procedures, Views, Indexes, and Triggers.

- Strong experience with SSRS

- Person should be willing to learn new tools/languages as required by project needs and should exhibit flexibility and adaptability in embracing change.

- Excellent analytical skills, the ability to integrate information from multiple sources to execute effectively and efficiently in a dynamic environment

- Ability to pursue a proactive approach to problem solving within a cohesive team environment

- Ability to work in a fast paced environment, Good team player and can work independently.

Desirable:

- Working knowledge of reconciliation tools (desired)

- Knowledge of an existing Reconciliations product. Ideally this should be Checkfree Recon+ / Frontier or Sungard intelliMATCH, but other product knowledge may be acceptable, including SmartStream

- Experience in process monitoring tools like ITRS desirable.

- Strong background in a disciplined software development life cycle (SDLC) process and any expertise working AGILE development methodology is added advantage.
