AVP - Taxation - CA (8-12 yrs)
Overall Job :
To manage the tax risk and compliance function for offshoring entities in India
Responsibilities :
- Advising on direct and indirect tax issues e.g. withholding tax, service tax, transfer pricing etc.
- The candidate is expected to have hands on knowledge of the tax law coupled with effective analytical skills to be able to interpret the complex tax provisions along with judicial precedents on various tax matters. Given that Tax in India is a complex subject the candidate is expected to have reasonable amount of expertise in the field
- Tax risk management and documentation
- Managing tax related accounting and internal reporting
- Managing tax compliance in terms of filing various returns, ensuring timely tax payments, responding to notices from tax authorities and maintaining requisite documentation. Filing of appropriate information/responses with tax authorities entails effective understanding of the business, tax law as well as systems & processes.
Skills :
- Qualified Chartered Accountant
- Approx 4-5 years of post qualification experience in the field of taxation.
- Experience of working in MNC in the field of taxation for more than 2 years
