About our Client - Our client is a MNC Bank with a strong presence in Asia. As a part of expansion a opportunity has arisen for a senior role in Taxation for their finance captive center in India.

Job Description :

- Working with the Head of Tax for managing all matters relating to the taxation affairs of the Group's captive Indian service companies, including tax compliance and advisory matters, transfer pricing and STP/ SEZ regulations.

- This role covers the activities carried out in various business divisions housed within Indian legal entities operating in Mumbai, Delhi, Gurgaon, Bangalore and Chennai.

- These entities employ close to 15000 staff providing support to their Banking operations in various countries worldwide.

The Successful Candidate :

- The successful candidate should have 8 to 10 years' experience working for a large professional services firm and/or with a multi-national group with large scale Indian based service operations. It is important that the post-holder is comfortable working with, and presenting to senior management.

- Experience with a Financial Services organization is not critical but would be useful.

- Strong negotiation skills are critical since the role will involve regular contact with the Tax & Regulatory Authorities and other stakeholders.

- A proven ability to work effectively within multi-disciplinary teams on various group projects would be a clear advantage. Additionally the possession of project management skills will also prove useful.
