AVP - Securitized Products - Corporate/Investment Banking (8-12 yrs)
This position is responsible for managing the Issuance team who are responsible for the New Issuance coordination of Structured Products, pre matching fails and dealing with reports and queries across multiple business lines.
- The role requires excellent people and task management skills, strong analytical and problem solving skills and the ability to work under time constraints in a high pressure environment.
- Ability to communicate and manage issues, lead a team, deliver requirements and a strong control focus is fundamental in ensuring success in the role.
- Equipped with payment/market settlement convention as well as sound control knowledge on payments, the role holder is expected to initiate and lead team members to drive initiatives that will mitigate risk and streamline processes to improve the efficiency of tasks performed by the team.
Technical Skills/Competencies:
- Minimum 2 to 3 years managerial experience in Middle Office or Operations gained from an investment bank or corporate bank.
- Strong Structured Product knowledge and subject matter expertise.
- Excellent experience with settlement or middle office along with extensive knowledge of the frond to back process in an investment banking environment is required.
