AVP - SAP ARIBA Product Specialist - Bank (10-15 yrs)

Primary Responsibilities

- You will be part of Source to Pay team within Global Procurement & responsible for managing Ariba modules as a Product Owner. In the role you will be working closely with Corporate Technology, your peers in Product Management Team, Sourcing Managers, S2P Operations team & our third party service providers. You will serve as a business interface with Corporate Technology team for any changes needed for the Platforms either due to operational process requirement or technology upgrade/changes. Also, you will help drive improvements and the creation of supporting processes, procedures, performance metrics, technology, training and organizational elements related to your Products.

- To be successful in this role the ability to collaborate, build consensus and alignment will be critical as you work with internal and external stakeholders to build and implement the functional strategies for your Product Area. As well you must have excellent communication and facilitation skills; problem solving skills and be a motivated self-starter.

Essential Functions:

Manage all platforms and related processes for Global Procurement which include but not limited to: Ariba Procure to Pay, Ariba Sourcing, Ariba Contracts & SAP FI module

Lead projects by able to understand business requirements and convert them in to logical change request for the platforms considering the potential impact on impacted business processes

Lead User Acceptance testing for design and enhancement of tools identifying and resolving potential issues

Manage the development and maintenance of templates and training documentation for internal users on tools

Stakeholder Management through regular governance calls with Corporate Technology and Operations team

Organize, lead and facilitate cross-functional project teams

Qualification & Experience required

Qualification

A Bachelor degree is required with relevant experience preferably in Banking/ Service organization

Experience & Skills

Essential:

- 10+ years of experience with strong understanding of procurement tools & source to pay processes

- Working knowledge of ARIBA modules including Procure to Pay, Sourcing, Contracts

- Ability to apply broad expertise or unique technical/industry knowledge in solving problems that are unique and extremely complex given time, budget and resource constraints

- Ability to handle multiple projects and tasks concurrently

- Ability to operate, drive results, and set priorities independently

- Ability to handle tasks which will be often unstructured, have wide implications and there are multiple outcomes

- Flexible and adaptable in a fast-paced and changing environment

- Negotiations skills and leadership skills will be essential for this role

Desired:

- Working knowledge of handling contracts as Procurement Manager or similar role

- Good understanding of ERP systems & modules (preferably SAP)
