AVP - Risk Modeling - SAS - Retail Banking

We have an opening with a Global Retail bank in their Risk Modeling team based out at Bangalore & Kolkata.

Please find the details below:

Skills Required:

- Strong analytical skills with 9+ years of proven business analysis experience or equivalent. Knowledge and understanding of banking/financial services preferred.

- SAS/Base SAS expertise

- Ownership of Model Management Lifecycle ensuring flawless completion of model validations. - Knowledge of SAS, SQL and other equivalent analytical tools.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

- Ability to develop and effectively communicate complex concepts and ideas.

Experience required - 8+ years into development of statistical models

Education Qualification - Masters in Economics/Statistics/OR/Mathematics or MBA in Finance or MTech or MS.

Responsibilities :

- Developing statistical and judgment based models to enhance the business decision making.

- Support business functions like forecasting & reserving.

- Continuous monitoring of models/forecasting trends in place and provide analytical recommendations for the same to the senior management.

- Act as Subject Matter Expert in Model Management domain

- Responsible for both Basel and Non-Basel Model development, implementation and management process
