About our Client - Our client is a well established leading retail and corporate bank with rapid expansion of their operations globally in the Analytics domain. As a part of migration of value added work from the US, UK, Europe and financial centers in APAC they are looking for an experienced professional to join their team to head the Risk Model Development unit in Delhi NCR.
Job Description - Reporting to the Head of the Business, you will be responsible for:
- Heading the Model Development vertical for the Bank
- Building high-impact scoring models around all areas of credit risk.
- Developing and growing the team members into high-quality modelers.
- Identifying, designing, prioritizing and executing model development projects under tight timelines.
- Managing relationship with various internal and external stakeholders, auditors and regulators.
- Ensuring compliance and control in information exchange, analytics process, projects delivery and documentation.
- Providing thought leadership in model development & strategic portfolio analysis.
- Assisting leadership team to grow Analytics Unit into an analytics centre of excellence through seamless execution of analytics projects and talent management.
The Successful Candidate - As a successful applicant, you have atleast 8 years of relevant experience in Risk Model Development. You have a strong track record in best-in-class model development for large financial institutions. You have a strong awareness of the financial services industry. You have extensive knowledge of scorecard model development and implementation across retail and wholesale banking. Education in Stats is a must.
