About our Client - Our client is a leading global asset management firm with its operations in more than 40 countries. They are looking for a seasoned finance professional to join them as an AVP in the CFO's team as a part of their continuous expansion globally.

Job Description - Head - Revenue Assurance is a critical position and part of organization's operational leadership team reporting to the Head of Finance. The candidate will be responsible for the following across the entire business of the company:

- Revenue Assurance & Reporting - accounting, MIS, analytics

- Identify and lead efforts to improve existing processes and controls on revenue recognition cycle so as to curb revenue leakages and/or maximize revenue

- Implement initiatives as needed to enhance control compliance

- Review contractual arrangements, to identify standard / non-standard revenue recognition clauses that influence accounting treatment

- Provide technical advice on revenue recognition, in order to influence deal structures to maximize revenue for the company

- Review of invoices and ensuring completeness and compliance with contracts

- Work closely with Legal, Sales, Operations groups to understand and resolve revenue related issues

- Supervising and scoring of invoices

- Assist in all internal or external audit queries on revenue recognition

- Review of payments and receipt entries booked in System

- Prepare monthly accounts receivable reporting package like bad debt reserve, AR Aging and accounts reconciliation

The Successful Candidate: CA/MBA with 8+ years of post qualification experience

- Should have experience in PNL, Balance sheets etc.

- Demonstrate ability to effectively work with all levels within a company, including senior management

- Ability to organize and prioritize responsibilities effectively

- Ability to recognize revenue recognition issues in contracts and purchase orders

- Understanding of revenue recognition methodologies

- Excellent communication, collaborative and influencing skills. Strong leadership, interpersonal, communication, analytical and problem solving skills

- Demonstrate the ability to work with others as well as independently Knowledge of accounting packages
