Opening for AVP-Regulatory Reporting in one off the leading captive bank in Bangalore  Responsibilities in the Role   The role incumbent, as Team Manager of REG team is specifically responsible for:  Strategy & Leadership  - Identify, implement and monitor controls to improve the quality of regulatory reporting  - Identify upcoming regulatory obligations/trends and encourage self/team to develop knowledge around them.  - Cascade medium/short term strategic objectives for the team and drive their adoption  - Provide leadership and direction to the teams/individuals  - Set short/medium term operational objectives for the team/individuals  - Contribute to transversal initiatives of the business line/organization  - Cascade unit head's vision/mission/goals and secure their implementation   Change Management  - Conceptualize/Contribute/Implement action items from strategic projects & implement organizational changes  - Contribute to organizations/business line's transformation initiatives  - Facilitate the operationalization of regulatory processes spawned by global regulatory projects  - Monitor the progress of regulatory projects being implemented from GSC  - Take corrective actions in case of deviations in schedule or cost  - Encourage adoption of project management best practices.  - Promote the adoption of CI best practices. Encourage the team to continuously identify and implement CI ideas.  - Identify and implement action items from transversal optimization projects/initiatives  - Influence and facilitate adoption of emerging technologies/trends and best practices  Client/Stakeholder Management  - Foster a transparent relationship with clients/partners  - Understand and anticipate client/partner needs to maintain an excellent relationship  - Provide a quick/satisfactory resolution for issues identified  - Understand and follow other regulatory stakeholders- processes/tools to raise and follow-up on regulatory issues  - Escalate in a timely fashion to avoid regulatory risk due to issues owned by other stakeholders.  Operational Excellence  - Review weekly dashboards/daily reports to monitor production quality  - Monitor the production parameters on a daily basis  - Provide guidance/ follow-up closely on complex production issues  - Capex management  - Provide updates to all stakeholders during issues- follow-up.  - Identify medium term/ short term production priorities  - Drive production efficiencies  - Monitor the maturity of CI best practices  - Ensure compliance/regulatory adherence  - Address internal/external audits  Risk Management  - Ensure maintenance of a satisfactory risk profile of the team  - Pro-actively identify sources of risk and implement mitigation actions  - Prompt closure of audit/inspection identified issues  Talent Management  - Hire the right people.
