AVP - Procurement - Telecom

Position of AVP Procurement with a leading telecom company in Mumbai. Looking for candidate from telecom industry or consulting (telecom domain) with expereince in leading and developing global Sourcing and procurement for worldwide with external suppliers for all procurement activities maximizing scale efficiencies and meeting cost optimisation targets.

Major reponsiblities include:

1. Creating, maintaining and aligning Procurement Strategy for all Procurement requirements

2. Required to make day to day decisions with authority over various procurement categories

3. Global Sourcing and Negotiations for the specific requirements

4. Process improvement in the cross-functional nature of activities with internal and external stakeholders to build procurement efficiencies

5. Performance improvement through global collaboration to drive execution of the procurement strategies and processes.

6. Active participation in enhancing automation for the Sourcing and P2P processes

7. Spend management for all categories of procurement

8. Increase capacity of the Procurement organization by developing and managing the strategic plans and process improvements
