AVP - Operations Risk & Control

- To assist in the preparation of the annual strategic review plan.

- To plan, execute and document scheduled reviews in accordance with the approved annual review plan / risk calendar.

- To ensure necessary working papers are retained for future references and to support findings; review work is documented electronically.

- To report design, process or control deficiencies and to make necessary recommendations for improvements.

- To perform effective ‘root cause analysis’ where control weaknesses are identified and where appropriate, highlight potential opportunities for improved efficiency and productivity.

- To ensure a robust and secure control environment is maintained at all times.

- To ensure that sufficient and appropriate testing is performed for assigned reviews and ensure efforts are focussed towards the higher risk areas.

- To perform special reviews on an ad-hoc basis, as required.

- To contribute in New Product Approval (NPA) process.

- To develop and maintain excellent relationships with the local and regional management of the CTFO and Payments across GBS; Business Partners; and Risk & Control colleagues.

- To support CTFO and Payments across GBS during the reviews performed by the Group Audit.

- On an ongoing basis monitor and track timely resolution of the outstanding risk issues. Perform closure validations, as required. Ensure no overdue audit issues / risk items.

- Provide reliable consultancy to management on risk issues pertaining to CTFO and Payments across GBS.
