About Our Client

Our client is one of the leading Financial Institution Globally. As a part of expansion in their global business, they are looking for a AVP - Risk and Control for their finance shared service based in Delhi/NCR. They are looking for seasoned professional with around 10-12 year of experience to join their team as an AVP managing the control environment of the site.

Job Description

Reporting into Director - Risk and Control, you would be responsible for managing and strengthening the risk management and control environment in the finance shared service. You would also be responsible for:

Developing and implementing controls across diverse finance functions (payables, reconciliation, financial control, finance systems, etc)

Working with the business in supporting Transition and Change activities and executing the Change Risk Assessment methodology

Supporting delivery of all Operational Risk reporting to the Group Chief Accountant's Risk and Control Unit

Managing business continuity, compliance, controls and internal audit and is expected to represent India at Finance wide risk and control forums

The Successful Applicant

You must be a CA/CPA/ICWA with at least 10 to 12 years of post-qualification experience

Extensive experience of working in a Retail / Investment Bank is a must

Thorough understanding of financial control principles and regulations like SOX, Basel is must

Excellent understanding of different financial systems along with strong experience of establishing controls around F&A functions (Payables, LEC, Reconciliation, etc)

Prior experience of managing relationships with internal and external audit teams is essential
