About Our Client:

Our client is a leading MNC bank in retail banking products like credit cards, mortgage, auto loans, etc. across all major markets in which they operate. As part of expansion of their global analytics team, they are looking for a AVP who can play a critical role in their Mortgages division and become a though leader to the organization.

Job Description:

Reporting into a Director you will be responsible for:

- Supporting the management and execution of projects, assignments and tasks within Mortgage Banking

- Interface with multiple support groups within the MIS and Reporting team, while overseeing the technical and development analysts.

- Leading a team in developing and communicating solutions for business support groups by effectively gathering, compiling and reviewing information and data

- Coordinate functional requirements with business management staff and technical solutions with systems programming and analyst staff to determine the most cost-effective solutions

- Interface with business, IT, Risk, IOs and other support staff as needed

- Identify and manage project dependencies and critical path issues

- Track milestones and deliverables

The Successful Applicant:

As a successful candidate you should have:

- Masters Degree typically 5-7 years experience in a related discipline.

- Required experience in multiple analytical disciplines.

- Typically less than 5 years of people management experience.

- Demonstrated advanced analytical, problem solving, and documentation skills

- Experience with business process re-engineering and business and user requirements

- Competent interpersonal skills necessary to work effectively with a variety of individuals, departments and organizations

- Concentration in MIS, Risk Management, Finance, Computer Science, Mathematics or Statistics is preferred.

- Knowledge of SQL, TOAD, or other equivalent technologies preferred Previous mortgage default and servicing knowledge a plus

- Knowledge of advanced Excel and Access tools is a plus
