Job Title: AVP - Migrations and Re-engineering Group Manager

Location: Mumbai, India

Job Description:

- Currently we have an opportunity for a highly motivated, career oriented individual to lead the Mumbai HR Reporting – Re-Engineering team. The position will be responsible to lead re-engineering and migration activities in support of building the analytics and reporting capabilities for the Mumbai HR Reporting CoE.

- The individual will manage the Mumbai re-engineering and migrations team, directly owning project execution for strategic migrations for the CoE and work in close partnership with the HR Reporting Group Manager in the CoE.

Specific accountability includes, but not limited to –

- Project execution of re-engineering and migrations activities for the CoE

- Devise scope, strategy and resource plans for all projects within the HR Reporting team, working with team managers to implement the strategy and plans, and set up all required processes to track project status and completion of deliverables within the specified timeframes

- Lead the migrations team in the development of effective change management and communication plans for all projects, to ensure consistency and standardization of messages and communication channels.

- Ensure the completion of the full end-to-end process methodology for each project; with focus on transparent/seamless work transition, process improvement, service delivery and ensuring appropriate service control mechanisms are in place

- Ensure all processes and procedures are documented using the required project templates and standards, with required reviews by the Customer, Risk and Compliance, Operations being completed.

- Able to identify and manage key stakeholders’ expectations in executing migration and resource and location strategy projects

- Able to anticipate and address needs and concerns and adapt execution suited to needs without sacrificing quality and controls on delivery

- Able to partner with stakeholders to identify opportunities for projects by understanding needs and questioning assumptions

- Secure and provide timely feedback to necessary stakeholders to ensure smooth execution throughout migration projects

- Ensure that there is global visibility on migration and resource and location projects globally, including status, investments, and success outcomes

- Maintain monthly dashboards for senior stakeholders and partners

- Identify other potential process, system, or organizational improvement ideas that will increase productivity and efficiency, reduce cycle or processing time and reduce error rates as part of the transition process

- Build and manage the re-engineering team to strengthen performance of existing migrations projects and enable continuing growth. This includes resource and staffing plans, work priorities as well as development of effective feedback mechanisms.

- Build relationships with global and regional partners in each project area, conducting regular meetings to share ideas and collaborate on projects where possible

- Work with Strategy, Re-engineering and Reporting team management to coordinate vision, strategy, and approach to expanding the coverage and depth of the services provided by the HR Reporting CoE

Job Skills/Qualifications:

- Bachelors Degree or equivalent

- MBA highly desired or equivalent work experience

- Overall 8 to 10+ years of experience in extensive project management

- 5+ years of experience and very strong knowledge of leading re-engineering and change within an organization across multiple countries

- 5+ years of experience developing complex, cross business change strategies with a proven track record of execution.

- 3+ years of experience in an HR Reporting or Management Reporting role, including demonstrated
experience of managing senior business partner relationship

- Understanding of two or more re-engineering methodologies (e.g. Six Sigma, Lean, Process)

- Extensive experience as a senior manager of employees

- Demonstrable experience of influencing and leading across a matrixed organization

- Highly effective communicator, able to interact with senior, global business management

- Ability to work independently and take personal initiative

- Sharp motivational and influencing skills

- Demonstrated ability to build high performing teams
