Job Description

1. Responsible for stabilizing and consolidating migrations, improving processes, and significantly delivering process efficiencies / review model.

2. Lead a team and responsible for key broker / dealer entity controllership function in India

3. Liaising with the entity Controllers and Consolidation group. Includes having an understanding of financial reporting and consolidation process.

4. Needs to understand the Business and Structure of the Legal Entities assigned.

5. Production of the monthly and year-end US GAAP Financial Statements. This includes P&L, BS, Off BS reporting, various schedules & disclosures as per the Regulatory requirement.

6. Ensuring Financial statements are complete, accurate, prepared in a timely manner, and are in accordance with GAAP on a legal entity and a consolidated basis.

7. Promotes continuous improvement and innovation in others and ensures the best ideas get translated into action

8. Implements quality assurance practices to ensure accuracy, quality and timeliness of team output

9. Provides guidance and support for others on how to exceed stakeholders expectations

10. Drives and develop productivity improvement initiatives

11. Accountable for team compliance with the financial control framework

12. Identifies and drives improvements in the implementation of the financial control framework across areas of responsibility

13. Accountable for addressing control weaknesses to reduce the potential for operational incidents

14. Ensure proper training of the team members and provide direction wherever required. Focus on execution

15. Ownership of key controls supporting the General Ledger and other reporting applications including managing the SOX compliance.

Key Skills Required

1. CA / MBA Finance

2. 8+ years of experience

3. Knowledge of US GAAP / IFRS

4. Team management skills.

5. Strong ability to communicate (oral and written) in English with all regions.
