AVP - Legal - Asset Reconstruction Firm

Our client is one of the largest Asset Reconstruction companies in India. It seeks to works directly with banks and promoters holding distressed assets and work with them to put a resolution of recovery. In India, the total NPA's currently stand at 6 lakh crores INR which is affecting the financial health and credibility of banks.

Job Description:

- Litigation strategist - with experience in corporate recovery

- Conducts matters in the Bombay High Court, the District Courts, the Debt Recovery Tribunal, etc

- Drafts Plaints, Written Statements, Statements of Claim, Replies, Write Petitions, Affidavits in lieu of Examinations-in-Chief, Motions, Probate Petitions, Counter-claims, Summons, Winding Up Petitions and Notices.

- Assists in arbitrations and negotiations

- Works on various cases relating to Debt Recovery laws, SARFAESI Act 2002, NCLT and SICA, BIFR matters, Succession matters, Partnership disputes, Companies Act.

- Have excellent client solicitation and relationship skills.

Desired Skills and Experience

8 - 10 years post qualification experience, Litigation, Corporate Debt Recovery, Drafting and Vetting Agreements and documentation, Corporate Law, SARFAESI Act, DRT, SICA, NLCT, Asset Reconstruction. Only candidates working in law firms will be contacted who match the requirements.
