AVP - Investment Banking (4-8 yrs)
Job Purpose
Be the crucial link in the transaction execution lifecycle between client and the banker. In-charge of day-to-day execution and entire transaction lifecycle. Work across all IB products such as Capital Markets, M&A and PE. Support RMs in business development (BD) initiative and pitches
Key Responsibilities
Managerial Responsibilities
Help in development and improvement of junior team members and aid them in their routine tasks if required
Oversee output from junior team members if needed
Functional Responsibilities
Responsible for every step of the complete transaction lifecycle - preparing transaction collaterals, client management, investor meetings, investor queries, valuation guidance & negotiation, overseeing due diligence process and final documentation
Develop sector specific knowledge and initiate BD coverage efforts by identifying companies and sector themes
Create and help build pitchbooks for BD efforts
Job Requirements
Qualifications
MBA (Finance) or CA
Functional Competencies
MS-Office (Excel, PPT) skills
Valuation basics and advanced concepts
Financial Modeling skills
Knowledge of various regulations for businesses - SEBI, RBI, FDI, etc.
Knowledge of IB products - ECM, PE, M&A and structuring capabilities
Behavioral Competencies:
Good communication skills, Global Cultural Fit
