AVP - Insurance Analytics Practice - P&C (8-14 yrs)

Span of control: Process centric
Reports to: VP
Responsibility level: AVP
Positions reporting into this role: Manager, Sr. Manager
Primary Responsibility:
- Manage process performance for agreed targets
- Client satisfaction and business impact delivered to clients
- Employee engagement
- Ensure all migrations are managed seamlessly
- Revenue and profitability

Role/ Responsibilities:
- Significant experience in managing analytics delivery in P&C Insurance domain; Understands Insurance Business / Markets very well
- Lead large analytics delivery for clients
- Engage with middle / senior level clients (VPs) effectively in a dialogue
- Play a critical role in a meaningful firm development activity; Should be conceptualizing ways of improving the processes in the activity
- Thought leader on industry vertical / solutions
- Should be able to effectively present / sell our capabilities to our existing or prospective clients
- Craft out solution effectively for the client and create business proposals independently
- Strong people management skills in large organization and an offshore environment
- Contribute effectively to building group strategy and delivery strategy
- Contribute in conceptualizing solutions for resolving operating level issues of the firm
- Ensure adherence to policies, procedures, standards and compliance
- Capacity planning and staffing plans for the process based on medium term business forecast.
- Negotiating and finalizing SLA’s with the Client.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and procedures, external regulations and information security standards

- Masters (MBA or Masters in Economics, Statistics, Operations Research or similar streams from top-tier academic institution with 8 -10 years of work experience
- Preferably with P&C Insurance experience
- Prior experience of leading analytics teams and knowledge workers
- Can independently manages activities like recruiting, training, mentoring, business development activities etc. within the large engagement as well as contributes in these areas at firm level.
- Exhibit an outstanding ability to communicate and present to senior level clients
- Knowledgeable in current and possible future practices, trends, technology and information affecting organization and business at large
- Insight on industry vertical / solutions and knows competition
- Proactively takes lead in building and leveraging relationships internally and externally/ client
