AVP - Government Partnerships - Insurance (10-15 yrs)

Desired Profile

- Should have 12+ years of work experience in Insurance / RSBY

- Should have experience in building a differentiated rural strategy for the organization

- Should have experience in handling various Government Departments

- Should have good analytical and presentation skills

- Must have good communication and interpersonal skills

- Should be able to handle Crisis management

Key responsibilities:

- Incumbent will be playing a National Role w.r.t Government Partnerships. Role will comprise of the following:

- Handling Mass Health Insurance Business - RSBY on PAN India basis

- Formulate & Execute Business Plans - Meeting Rural Social Obligation through a differentiated approach i.e. RRBs, MFIs and SHGs etc. Develop a mechanism for rural business tracking leading to successful compliance with IRDA mandate.

- Build a Rural Retail Strategy for the company to comply with increasing GWP YoY

- Ensure Regulatory Compliance internal, external, MoLE and rural process flow deployment & execution BE

- Execute implementation of AMHI agenda - MoLE, SNA and States

- Premium tracking - State and Central share. Ensure fund flow is as per plan in the AOP.

- Standardized processes and documented SOPs and BRDs for product management and service delivery.

Projects ERM

- Tracking and monitoring all new RSBY opportunities

- Business updates as per governance plan and national reporting internal and external on a monthly basis

- Feasibility study, market intelligence and competitive quoting

- Liaison with MoLE, Word Bank, GIZ and State Nodal Agencies

- Conducted extensive training sessions for own team, distribution channels and other stakeholders

- White paper on New Rural Business (Non RSBY)
