AVP - Financial Control Change Management

Job Description:

The Projects candidate will responsible for delivering and facilitating change impacting the Finance function.

The suitable candidate will be using their strong project management, analysis and leadership skills and experience to ensure the team executes the Change Management strategy defined by the Global Head.

The role involves consulting with stakeholders impacted. The individual will also engage with counterparts in Europe, Asia and the US to ensure a consistent approach and methodology is followed on a global basis

The C&IB Finance functions build out in Chennai is a high profile programme of work, spanning across many teams and functions globally. Initial focus will be on assisting with the execution of the location strategy pipeline of work. Working with the Change Lead in establishing robust plans and interfacing with various stakeholders to ensure plans are executed timely and efficiently.

Technical Knowledge:

- Knowledge of accounting and accounting systems

- Formal project management / business analysis training / qualifications

- Strong academic background – 1st /2nd class honours, minimum bachelor degree from a reputable institution

Experience:

Essential:

- 5 to 7 years post qualification experience

- Background in Finance / Banking

Preferred:

- Experience in Finance Change function

- Investment banking experience preferred, but not essential
