About our Client - Our client is a leading global asset management firm with its operations in more than 30 countries. They are looking for a seasoned finance professional to join them as an AVP in their Regional Controllers team as a part of their continuous expansion in India.

Job Description - Reporting to the VP, your responsibilities include:

- Preparation & Review of the disclosures produced by the accounting team

- Ensuring that reporting is compliant with IFRS and Group reporting requirements

- Reviewing quarterly reporting package prior to internal submission for consolidated reporting purposes

- Dealing with ad hoc queries from management, analysts, internal finance management reviews, and auditors

- Ad hoc projects, such as IFRS implementation, process reviews and systems development

- End to end responsibility of the set of books for both local & USGAAP Engaging with other finance areas, e.g. Financial Planning and Analysis, MIS, Financial Control and Product Control to ensure delivery of the above points

The Successful Candidate - You are a Qualified Chartered Accountant (Batches 2005 / '06 / '07) with experience in accounting and statutory reporting from a financial services setup. Good working knowledge of IFRS / USGAAP / IGAAP and strong interpersonal and team-working skills and the ability to communicate at all levels are a must. You should also have the ability to work in a pressured environment and cope with the demands of working to tight deadlines.
