Assistant Vice President- Finance- Bangalore

Job Objective: To ensure efficient funding and investments for the growth of the company. Drive financial planning & analysis, budgeting & costing and MIS functions in the organization in accordance with statutory requirements, corporate policies and procedures

Qualification: MBA

Candidates Preferably from Banking Experience from MUMBAI

10+ Years of experience

Strategic

- Finalize critical financial funding decisions such as fixing and review of the Debt Equity ratio in collaboration with the CFO

- Optimize funding activities to yield risk free maximum returns

- Develop and implement policies on the banking mix for project level and corporate level fund requirements

- Develop a framework for the assessment of various funding options/channels

- Assist the CFO in development of guidelines for investment of company funds in line with financial risk management guidelines

Operational & Financial

- Lead the preparation of quarterly forecasts, annual budget, monthly analysis and quarterly operating reviews, through timely and accurate MIS in relation to funding activities and deployment / utilization of funds

- Ensure effective control of bank balances of the organization to permit adequate working capital for day-to-day operations and effective management of surplus funds

- Manage the investment portfolio of the organization to ensure maximum return on investment in line with defined investment guidelines

- Review the financials across all operating locations and finalize analysis; provide early warning signals and assist the CFO in development of appropriate mitigation mechanisms

- Manage the relationship with banks and financial institutions to ensure cost effective and preferential services

- Review credit rating periodically and develop mechanisms to ensure achievement of target credit rating

- Finalize templates for project costing and liaise with department heads to periodically review effort-cost associations; communicate rationale for project costing to concerned Heads of Departments

People

- Foster an environment of learning, excellence and innovation within all aspects of team work

- Conduct performance appraisals on departmental staff / personnel. Assess and fulfill training and career development requirements
