AVP - Equities

We have an exciting opportunity going with one of our clients who is one of the largest players in the financial services domain.

Designation: AVP_Equities

Responsibilities: AVP_Equities will be a part of the team which handles the middle office function for Equity finance, Cash Prime Brokerage and Cash Equities

- Trade Support/ Desk support

- Trade amendments including margin, pricing and billing

- Inter / Intra company reconciliations and reconciling trade, position and cash

- Fails management

- Reporting including daily, weekly and monthly MIS, corporate actions

- Collateral Management

- Managing clients and counterparties

- Creating client packs

- Processing cash flows

- Risk management – Regular interactions with risk, legal and compliance teams

- Staying involved in metrics collation, trending analysis, weekly calls with the stakeholders on issues related to systems, aged breaks and enhancements, coordinating within the regions on common issues, timely escalations

Desired candidature: The person should have the following skills to qualify the requirement

Core Skills :

- Knowledge of investment banking

- Thorough technical understanding of Equities product (vanilla and derivatives i.e. swaps)

- Core knowledge of various markets and its nuances

- Understanding of complete trade life cycle of relevant Equity products

General Competencies:

- Excellent Communication and organizational skills

- Excellent computer skills including knowledge of Microsoft Office products – Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint and Word.

- Excellent interpersonal and problem solving skills
