About our Client : Our client is a leading financial services firm with a strong base in India. As part of expansion of their global analytics team, they are looking for a senior analytics professional who can play a critical role in their credit cards division with direct exposure to the leadership of our bank working closely with global counterparts
Job Description: Reporting into the Risk Lead, you will be responsible for:
- Provide project management and data analytic support to develop, implement, monitor and adjust our credit risk strategies and ensure profitable growth of the bank's consumer credit portfolios
- Ensure all strategies are aligned with strategic initiatives across the credit life cycle and maintain understanding of new and existing customer optimization strategies
- Maintain effective relationships with key credit risk delivery teams to facilitate quick and robust deployment of new strategies
- Critically review key credit risk metrics and drive discussion with the business partners on risk trends
The Successful Candidate:
- 7+ years of solid experience of working with a banking setup in a credit risk strategy role preferably within the credit card industry
- Strong analytical and problem solving ability; ability to visualize, articulate, and solve complex problems and evaluate correlations and synthesize data driven insights
- Strong knowledge of risk management and internal control principles; Credit Risk and operational Risk Management experience preferred
- Ability to gather and analyze information, design tests and verification procedures to confirm accuracy and strengths of a given control point
- Proven ability to work in a matrix environment, provide oversight and directly influence change
- Strong organizational, project management and multi-tasking skills with demonstrated ability to manage expectations and delivery results
