One of our clients, A leading MNC Bank is looking for a right candidate for the below mentioned position.  AVP-Compliance  Basic Job Purpose:  - Develop a thorough understanding on the bank’s processes under Retail Banking so as to comprehensively assess the impact for a particular policy / guideline.   - Provide clear and timely guidance to business on the regulatory guidelines/policies and ensure effective implementation.  - Strengthen the existing risk governance framework that integrates regulatory compliance and business model change.  - Design Country Compliance Policies / Procedures in accordance with regulatory and internal policy requirements.  - Articulate the regulatory requirements clearly and develop implementation strategy, in close association with business seniors, based on realistic assessment of the total impact of the regulatory/policy change.  - Timely escalation, both in country and to the Region, where necessary on high risk items.   - Imparting training on a continual basis to the large number of employees on sensitive aspects of the Retail Banking business.  - Develop and manage regulatory change across the enterprise, not only for the line of business that is directly affected but also comprehend changes in other lines of business, so as to ensure consistency across multiple aspects of the regulatory agenda enterprise-wide.   - Responsible for surveillance monitoring activities for wealth management activities conducted across bank branches and other business units.  - Review product programs, marketing materials, employee incentive programs for adherence to internal policy and regulatory requirements.   - Ensuring timely submission of regulatory returns and responses to regulatory correspondences.   - Develop tools to facilitate monitoring of key business deliverables from a compliance perspective (e.g. pending regulatory adherences, customer complaints, accurate regulatory reporting etc.)  - Act as a back-up for Foreign Exchange transactions that are conducted through branches.  Education & Experience:  - CA/MBA from premier institutes with 7-9 yrs of relevant experience.  - Prior knowledge of banking / financial services and regulatory framework.  - Should have the ability to comprehend regulatory / compliance policies etc and provide clear guidance on a timely basis.   - Should have a keen eye for detail and ability to understand how the regulatory change would affect various business functions.   - Should have the ability to engage and put across his/her point of view constructively, to business seniors.  - Should have good communication and presentation skills.  - Should be a good team player.  Interested may send your profiles with current CTC details  Premnath Bojan, Datamatics Staffing Services Bangalore.
