AVP - Carrier/Business Development Sales - IT/Telecom (8-12 yrs)
Position Responsibilities
- Responsible for signings and revenues for Alef products and services from identified Mobile Network Operator(MNO) customers
- Identify, validate, qualify opportunities in target MNO customers. Responsible for Business development for Alef services within the MNO business functional verticals
- Responsible for development and qualification of new and emerging business opportunities
- Perform detailed evaluation of client business environment including customer needs, capabilities/assets, and competitive realities to identify unique business opportunities
- Execute a consultative sales approach, engaging in selected accounts to find and/or develop incremental product opportunity
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships
- Negotiate contracts and close agreements to maximize profit
- Develop a trusted advisor relationship with key accounts, customer stakeholders and executive sponsors.
- Develops C-Level relationships that build customer confidence regarding Alef capabilities, Create relationships through networking, referrals, and proactive business development with target buyers
- Ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to customer needs and objectives
- Work with Alef product management and Solution architecture teams for defining product roadmaps, market requirements definition, assessing market potential, proritising segments
- Participate in sales and marketing related efforts including webinars, in-person presentations, speaking engagements, seminars, and conferences
Qualifications :
- Strong passion for and knowledge of technology, emerging media, social networking, and the Internet
- Understanding of mobile network providers, app ecosystem, cloud, enterprise mobility, social and analytics functions
- Understanding of pricing mechanisms, ability to discover the right pricing and commercial model in the market
- Understanding of mobile network enabled premium services in the content ecosystem
- Collaborative team player with the confidence and integrity to earn client and internal team confidence quickly
- Proven ability to generate leads and convert them into long-term partners
- Self-starter, true sales - hunter-, and extremely proactive with a strong work ethic
- Strategic and creative thinker
- Exceptional at networking, securing referrals, and initiating and building relationships
- Willingness to take initiative, and the sheer ability to hustle and get things done
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, multitasking, tight deadlines environment
