Job Description - Reporting to the VP, you will be responsible for :

- Be the first point of contact for any Business specific queries and questions relating to Month End

- Preparation of cost & revenue bridges and ensure proper review followed by internal commentaries

- Identification of inter dependencies within the Financials, able to understand the impact across the Balance Sheet, P&L & any potential Capital impacts

- Preparation of variance analysis, understanding the underlying Business performance - Able to identify and explain key issues and help drive through mitigation plans to resolve

- Production of key reports and analysis for Senior Stakeholders e.g. Exco Packs. Ensuring Business Specific commentary is clear, that it is fit for purpose, utilizing onshore subject matter expertise to draw out key messages and decisions required

- Develop a deep understanding of drivers in the income/cost/FTE base and, with the business leads, develop analytical predictive models

- Need to possess the ability analyze huge strategic data & breakdown for analysis

- Proactively obtain feedback on reports and process in order to develop and ensure remains fit for purpose

- Develop subject matter expertise in agreed technical/business/functional areas

- Prepare responses to ad hoc requests for performance data or analysis ensuring the information provided is robust, understood and has been properly set in context and explained

- Risk and Control Objective - Ensure that all activities and duties are carried out in full compliance with regulatory requirements, Barclays Operational Risk Framework and internal Barclays Policies and Standards

The Successful Candidate :

- You are a Qualified CA / MBA (Finance) with 7-9 years post qualification experience and currently titled as market-equivalent AVP. Prior experience in areas of BP&A, MIS reporting, internal reporting would be the right skill-set fitment with equal focus on cost and revenue side.

- Candidates from a financial services or a highly transaction related work environment would be highly preferred. It is imperative that the individuals have sound financial management/analysis perspective along with a high degree of relationship management and strong communication ability.

- Also, they should have willingness to work in shift timings.
