AVP - Business Analyst - Peoplesoft 9.2 - General Ledger & Reporting (6-10 yrs)
GL Strategic solution is a key initiative, part of the overall Group Finance book of work. The project seeks to expand the GL, enrich GL with data and also enable T+1 view of the balance sheet in PeopleSoft 9.2.
Main Duties/Responsibilities of the Role:
- Experience Range - 6 to 10 years
- To work as a Lead Business Analyst within one of the work streams in GL project
- Responsible for the gathering of business requirements, documentation of the business requirements including putting forward recommendations for solutions, where required
- Preparation of functional specifications and use cases for the delivery of the business requirements
- Preparation of test plans, test cases, coordinating with users and IT during the testing phase
- Execution of specific test cases
- Preparation of the documentation and steps for deployment, including user training where required
- Responsible for handling stakeholders- requirements, status reports and project related documentation
Special Circumstances:
There will be periods where extended working hours and/or weekend work will be required to meet deadlines.
Qualifications - External
Education and Professional Qualifications:
Essential:
- Basic Degree in Finance / Accounting / IT/ Engineering
Desirable:
- PeopleSoft certifications
- MBA (Finance)/CA/ICWA/CPA/ACCA
Work Experience / Background:
Essential:
- Experience in accounting, or has a good understanding of financial/management accounting and has worked extensively with users in this area
- Experience in problem solving with end users
- Strong analytical skills
- PeopleSoft Financials Upgrade Implementation or Support experience - General Ledger & Reporting
Desirable:
- Experience on PeopleSoft 9.2 version
Technical / Business Skills & Knowledge:
Essential:
- Functional experience with PeopleSoft Financials
Desirable:
- Advanced Excel user
