AVP - Business Analyst - Finance/Regulatory - Change Management Project - AGILE/Scrum Project Methodology (6-14 yrs)
The resource will play a key role within the Project team in ensuring the project meet objectives on time by increasing employee adoption and usage. The team will focus on the people side of change, including:
- Change to business processes
- Change to systems and technology
- Transitioning processes from project mode to BAU mode
- Training support
- Communications support
- Track and report issues
- Evaluate and ensure user readiness
Responsibilities
- To work as a Business Analyst working closely with various stakeholders
- Extensive interactions with Business and IT would be required to ensure business requirements are understood and design approaches are agreed with consensus.
- Extensive analytical work will also be required to support the business requirements and define design concepts- Assist Project Managers and Project Leads to drive the project plan and related activities
- Responsible for maintaining requirement traceability matrix and follow up with IT on closure of any open points
- Prepare and maintain the Issue tracker and RAID logs associated with the project stream
- Responsible for the gathering of business requirements, documentation of the business requirements
- Responsible for preparing Business analysis and communication plan
including putting forward recommendations for solutions, where required
- Preparation of functional specifications and use cases for the delivery of the business requirements
- Preparation of test plans, test cases, co-ordinating with users and IT during the testing phase
- Execution of specific test cases
- Preparation of the documentation and steps for deployment, including user training where required
SPECIAL CIRCUMSTANCES
There will be periods where extended working hours and/or weekend work will be required to meet deadlines.
Qualifications - External
EDUCATION AND PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
Essential
- Basic Degree in Business / Finance / Accounting / IT
WORK EXPERIENCE/BACKGROUND:
Essential
- Experience in accounting, or has a good understanding of financial/regulatory requirements and has worked extensively with users in these areas
- Strong business analytical skills
- Full cycle project implementation experience
- Experience of working with onshore/offshore model
- Experience of working closely with IT and Support Teams
TECHNICAL/BUSINESS SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE:
Essential
- Familiarity with project management approaches, tools and phases of a project lifecycle
- Good knowledge of MS Office suite
Desirable
- Familiarity with AGILE / Scrum project methodology
- Advanced Excel user
