Designation : AVP - Brand Strategy & Planning  Role summary :   A leadership role with a team Brand Managers and Asst. Brand Managers to help define the brand strategy and marketing communication across varied set of client groups leading to disproportionate business growth and create long-term brand value.  Role description :  - To work closely with the leadership to define the business strategy, including but not limited to the corporate vision, target consumer groups, the definition of the business and development of key differentiators through an analysis of the market scenario and identification of the existing gaps in the market.  - Basis the above, to develop a coherent brand strategy for the company, including but not limited to a comprehensive competitive analysis, a compelling brand story, positioning, key messages, creative and communication elements.  - To translate the brand strategy into a marketing plan and lead its execution in the marketplace, including advertising and all forms of marketing communications.  - To develop relationships with branding and advertising agency partners to deliver on the above requirements.  - New product development with appropriate brand alliances for long-term impact  - To define and enable sales for business predictability and achievement along with sales and product training.  - Create appropriate consumer experience across all touch-points.  Desired profile :  Educational qualifications :  - Postgraduate degree / diploma from a tier 1 institute (defined as IIMA, IIMB, IIMC, IIML, ISB, XLRI-BM)  Work experience :  - 8-10 years experience in the brand and marketing role across consumer facing industries preferably FMCG/FMCD/Automobile/Telecom  Functional knowledge & technical ability :  - Good understanding of business strategy, sales and marketing concepts  - Experience across marketing domains of advertising, PR, media, BTL, consumer understanding  - Strong sense of creative aesthetics and luxury  - Ability to engage independently with business partners, agencies and others  - Strong execution ability to deliver marketing materials on-ground  Behavioural characteristics :   - Keen to work in an organization with an entrepreneurial culture and large learning opportunities  - Capable of taking ownership of deliverables and partner relationships  - Adaptive to different / rapidly changing circumstances  - Comfortable with operating within chaos / with limited information  - Able to work with a variety of people and manage their expectations
