Business Development / Sales - Business Research
LOCATION: Navi Mumbai
ORGANIZATION: Leading research and analytics firm
ROLE: AVP – Business Development
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead sales team: Lead a team of business development and sales professionals and guide them to achieve their sales targets; report to senior management on sales and cost metrics Business development / client acquisition:
- Acquire new business for research services through consultative selling approach Relationship building:
- Build strong relationships with clients and network with decision makers in the assigned verticals and geographies Account management:
- Upsell services and generate repeat business from existing clients and grow accounts Proposal writing:
- Understand client needs, design solution in consultation with research team, write responses / proposals to RFP / RFQ / RFI from prospects / existing clients and handle client queries Group development:
- Support senior management in defining future strategic direction of the group
REQUIREMENTS:
- Proven ‘professional services’ sales experience with strong track of success 8+ years of experience in selling custom business research /consulting at strategic level
- Strong management / leadership experience Proven hunting abilities and strong track record in account management
- Strong business acumen with the ability to identify and exploit opportunities and contribute to group strategy development
- Graduate / Post Graduate in any discipline Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Knowledge of CPG or Automotive vertical is preferred
