Position : AGM - Statistical Modeling (CPG/Retail)

About Our Client

Our client is a global consulting firm with a niche focus on Non BFSI - largely CPG, Retail etc. They have established themselves as a niche player in the consulting world - providing services in the Analytics domain to their large set of clients across domains. With the setup based in Bangalore and the backing of a fortune 100 conglomerate, they are looking to hire a AGM for their Statistical Modeling team based in Bangalore.

Are you someone with:

- 8+ years post your Masters in a numerical subject (Maths/Stats/Eco) or PhD (preferred).

- Worked in Retail/ CPG Analytics projects in the various analytics organizations

- Handled clients and independently handled deliveries of projects.

- Experience in Marketing analytics building statistic models using SAS, R

- Expert knowledge of advanced statistical techniques like Decision Trees, CART, SEM, Forecasting techniques and tools like regression, correlation, etc.

- Functional expertise across Marketing (Campaign tracking, ROI measurement, Multi-channel Analysis), Customer (Attrition, Response model, propensity model, customer segmentation, Loyalty, CLTV etc.) and Product (Optimal Pricing, cross-sell/Up-sell, Product assortment, benchmarking etc.)

- Strong leadership qualities exhibited by handling large team size upto 40 people in predictive model development

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, superior problem solving abilities and analytical thinking

- Strong Stakeholder management skills managing international stakeholders onsite and on calls

Would you be keen for a role, where you are responsible for:

- Hands on building Statistical models in the Retail/ CPG Domain

- Managing a team of Core statistical Modelers from the Retail/ CPG domain

- Developing expertise across the Retail/CPG domain in a consulting framework

- Coordinating both internally and externally in the organization for Analytics Delivery

- Participate hands on where client requires expert advice

- Heading the delivery for Predictive Modeling in the Retail/ CPG domain

- Drawing data driven insights and building predictive models e.g. Cross Sell/Up sell models, Survival Models, Customer Segmentations, Market Basket Analysis, Loyalty Analytics

- Heading the India delivery centre for Predictive Modeling in the Retail/ CPG domain as an AVP - Analytics

- Helping various project teams organize and manage client data and carry out logical accuracy and consistency checks on data

- Maintain client relationship and making independent key decisions related to client management
