Please Note this is not a IT requirement. We are scouting for a AVP with strong expertise in Advanced Reporting and Business Intelligence preferably in Insurance or BFSI. Experience in BPO/KPO/Shared Services/Captive ITES industry is must.

The stint in Manila will be for a period of 1.5-2 years at max, post which the job location will be either Pune or Bangalore.

Competencies / Experience :

Graduate/ Post-Graduate with 10+ years- experience in reporting and data handling

- Skilled in Advanced MS Excel/ MS Access/ SQL/ VBA / Power BI / Tableau/ SSIS/ SQL Server - Excellent investigative and analytical aptitude

- Good communication and presentation skill

- People management skills (as applicable for the role)

- Preferably worked in Insurance domain

- Consulting assignment experience preferred.

- Any prior experience in reporting tool migration/overhaul project will be plus.

- Knowledge of AGILE methodology a plus

Description of typical engagement tasks :

- Manage and design solution(as the role demands) for the below

- Generate reports using Advanced Excel and Power BI and create/debug where necessary,

- Write and optimize moderate to complex query techniques,

- Create efficient forms and reports.

- Data extraction, processing, analysis using appropriate tools/ techniques

- Experience on working on Management Information System and Business Intelligence consulting projects to gain efficiency and optimization.

- Communicate with customers/clients to gather requirements and identify appropriate solution to business problem

- Develop a deep understanding of data, models, assumptions and results and present the output to clients

- Complete accountability for the work done by team and manage delivery of projects as required by client

- Analyse the inputs and results from team and suggest modifications as required to drive value to the business

- Respond to work requests in a timely and professional manner and work allocation to team members

- Client expectation management skills and ability to manage all aspects of communication and effectively articulate objectives, issues and solution

- People management- guide and mentor team to meet client requirements, responsible for delivery, leading client communication for respective
