Job Description:  This position will support the head of accounts in payment bank in ensuring effective & efficient financial management system, providing financial information to senior management, handling tax & RBI compliance and maintaining sound financial controls.   Key responsibilities will include but are not limited to:  - Oversee & manage daily operations of the accounts department  - Monthly review of all general ledger accounts to ensure accurate and completeness of posted transactions  - Preparation of all financial statements including cash flow statement and accounts for audit  - Ensure statutory compliances & reporting including direct & indirect tax and RBI (Finance related)  - Coordinate and successfully conclude financial audits (internal, statutory, tax etc.)  - Ensure full implementation of Internal Financial controls (IFC)  - Co-ordinate with FP&A team for data quality and accuracy for all internal and external reporting  - Monitoring of creditors/debtors accounts, cash position, payments control etc.  Skills & Qualifications  - Chartered Accountant or equivalent degree with 8-10 years of experience, preferably in banking industry or with big four  - Knowledge of automated financial and accounting reporting systems, preferably SAP  - Knowledge of Direct & Indirect Tax and basic understanding of Ind-AS, GST and IFC  - Ability to prepare financial reports & statements  - Effective oral and written communication skills with a strong ability to efficiently communicate financial results to both financially and non-financially oriented persons
