Position Summary:  - To ensure correct and timely compliance with all the direct & indirect tax laws, rules, procedures and regulations and deal with the direct tax authorities in connection with the assessment proceedings in coordination with the local consultants.  - Lead the Audit process relating to Tax audit, VAT audits, Service Tax audits etc. Maintaining relationships with External Consultants and Team.   - Ensure Business support through identification of VAT law changes and opportunities. Ensure adequate controls over tax processes.   - Ensure timely submission of Monthly, quarterly, annual returns to Region & Global.  - Track changes in laws to ensure compliance.  Principal Duties:  Corporate Tax Return:   - Coordination of tax audit, preparation and review of ITR with coordination with external tax consultants for preparation and filing of the annual income tax return of income.  Withholding taxes compliances:   - Ensure withholding taxes on salaries, rent, contractors, professional charges including Sales Leader commissions, overseas remittances, etc are all deducted appropriately and deposited with Government Treasury within the due dates  Transfer Pricing - Study Audit & Certification:   - Coordinate with tax consultants for timely preparation of TP studies, putting in place agreements under TP laws with group companies.  Income Tax Assessments - ITR, TDS, TP, etc.:   - Preparing all support documents for hearings under regular assessments, scrutiny assessments, appeals and any other submissions that may be required from time to time.  Expatriate taxation:   - Coordinate with HR team and tax consultants on expatriate taxation as and when required.  VAT/WCT Compliances incl Assessments and Audits:  - Collecting, collating and coordinating monthly VAT collections made across all states to ensure timely deposit with VAT authorities.  Services Tax Compliances:   - Ensure timely deposit of taxes particularly under reverse charge mechanism.  Job Requirements:  Education required: CA  Years of experience: 3+ years  Special skills required for position:  - Good people management skills.   - Good coordination and administrative skills.   - Should have the flair for data management. Eye for detail.   - Very strong interpersonal skills with degree of humility to manage external relationships.  Business Expertise:  - The incumbent in this role would need to coordinate with associates from across functions and outside vendors.
