Aviva - Manager - Taxation (3-6 yrs)

Main priorities and Key outputs:

- Responsible for transaction tax compliances of the company

- Responsible for compliance of both direct and indirect taxes related compliances

- Support the Tax head in compliances, tax audits and assessments

- Ensures robust accounting system and internal controls and compliances with regard to all the applicable taxations.

- Maintain an effective and aggressive payables and tax reconciliation programs and appropriate documentation for day-to-day transactions

- Custodianship of Tax accounting systems and records and tax filings

Skills/ knowledge:

- Knowledge of India Insurance market is desired

- Good intellect and cross functional team working skils

- Good knowledge of financial processes and tax laws

- Good working knowledge of MS-Office and exposure to ERP environment, preferably Oracle

- An open and honest style of communication, which gains the respect of peers and subordinates

- Abreast with all new laws and regulations impacting the area of work handled

Experience:

- Qualified Chartered Accountant with 4 - 6 years of experience in a fast moving, multi - cultural environment in an MNC/ Large Corporate house preferably handled Tax responsibilities

- Out of the entire experience, at least 2 years should have been at level where he/ she had an opportunity to demonstrate team management skills
