Aviva - AM/Manager - Business Planning & Analysis (3-6 yrs)

Purpose:

- The jobholder will be responsible for preparation of management review presentations, leadership submissions to Board / Shareholders and also deliver Competition Benchmarking. Running strategic projects and Driving Cost Management would also be of key priority.

Main Priorities:

- Variance Analysis with budgets & prior period

- Reviews of expenses with the department heads

- Planning & Budgeting of Opex & Capex.

- Forecasting of monthly expenses

- Cost - benefit analysis and evaluation of expenditure plans.

- Preparation of Monthly Presentation for management team

- Leadership presentation to Board / Shareholders

- Set up Market Intelligence process

- Industry Analysis - Strategic and Financial

- Adhoc Analysis on Sales & Expenses

- Driving Cost Management / Initiating & driving cost saving projects

- Providing KPI monitoring through focused MIS packs

- Provide information that is timely, relevant, understandable and facilitates the management decision - making process

- Prepare presentations for the management for internal circulation/Aviva UK/performance tracking etc

- Timely and accurate group reporting

Qualifications:

- MBA Finance from a premier institute (preference) or Qualified Chartered Accountant.

Skills/ knowledge:

- Very good presentation preparation skills

- Running Market Intelligence / Competition benchmarking process

- Deep knowledge of costing, financial management

- Expertise in financial modelling

- Good verbal / written communication skills

- Excellent MS Excel and powerpoint skills

Experience:

- 3-6 years of experience in Finance Function post qualification.

- 2-3 years of experience preferably in the insurance/ financial sector
