- AugRay (part of Wisdom InfoTech) is seeking an entrepreneur-in-residence (EIR) for our travel industry with a passion for traveling towards working on a Travel vertical Start up.

- The EIR Eco Tourism will be an integral part of the AugRay Labs team, acting with significant levels of autonomy and responsibility.

- Candidates for this position will be responsible for creating innovative contents that can be seen via Augmented Reality and Virtual Reality, story board on various art, culture, monuments and historical places in India and abroad. Will form a team who would develop and manage content focused on travel, mass media communication, creative writing, Blog, Articles, Itineraries, Social Media, Worldwide culture, history of popular destinations, lifestyle, tourism industry and a variety of other subjects.

- The EIR will act as the overall business champion for one or more business concepts, leading technology development, helping develop and expand the market case, completing the business model, and guiding operations and implementation.

- The EIR will have access to AugRay Labs personnel, resources, and infrastructure. However, this is a hands-on role that requires individual accountability and effective operation across a spectrum of subject matter, timeframes, and complexity.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES

The EIR, With Support From The AugRay Labs Organization And Project Team(s), Will

- Ability to create the eco tourism around the country under the guidance and vision of the organization.

- Create business plan and execute for the AR tourism business vertical

- Ablity to develop travel content, travel articles, blogs, guest posts, press release.

- Proven interest and expertise in writing about tourist attractions, heritage, history, festivals, food, culture, etc

- Responsible for conducting research on tourism and create travel news content on regular basis.

- Creative enough to write endlessly about possibly anything related to travel, hotel, hospitality, leisure, lifestyle, different tourist places, etc.

- Awareness of current news and events around the world to create customized and topical content.

- Expertise in writing and Managing the articles, blogs, product descriptions on travel topics, hotels etc

- Develop and hone business concept(s) to target compelling, actionable long-term market opportunities.

- Being Aware of trends on social media and using that knowledge to create effective messaging

- Able to Maintain a consistent look and feel throughout all content on the web related to travel and tourism.

Identify, validate and deliver product to a viable market segment; supervise market research, and market trials.

- Create and implement marketing plan and business development plan with the help of AugRay team.

- Determine business and revenue model and supervise creation of pro forma financial model.

- Manage project company-level budgets and capitalization.

- Assist in recruiting.

- Demonstrate honesty, responsibility, integrity, and fulfillment of commitments.

Required characteristics

- Excellent academic credentials.

- Operating experience at a high-performing, high-growth business or research organization.

- Leadership ability, evidenced by technology- or business-related leadership role at a start-up company or other fast-growing organization.

- Ability to create and effectively communicate business visions and strategies, written business plans, and presentation materials.

- Craze one travel to learn and articulate travel

- The content types are also diverse, including articles, blog posts, webpages,emailers, web banners, newsletters, travel experiences brochures, book summaries, ebooks, research reports, news, white paper, blogs, articles re-writing etc

- Recruiting, hiring and personnel management experience.

- Budget and profit-and-loss responsibility desirable.

- Proven ability to take on extensive responsibility and excel in a small team environment.

- Strong work ethic and self-starter a must.

Required skills

- Excellent written and verbal communication and proof reading skills

- Good research skills and comprehension skills

- Proficient in MS Office

- Traveler (preferred a serious backpack traveler)

Education/experience/certifications

- Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Technical Writing or a related field 2+ years of relevant experience

- MBA (Sales and Marketing) or Master's Degree related field preferred
