Attorney

Looking for a specialized attorney to serve as an in-house counsel and handle all complex legal matters and projects. You will be a part of one of the top global partners of world-leading technology and services. You will ensure the legality of commercial transactions and advise our company on legal rights and duties.

The position is located in Mumbai.

What are my responsibilities-

- Manage a variety of general corporate and commercial/transactional matters including reviewing and drafting of commercial agreements, reviewing and responding to tenders.

- Develop company policy and position on legal issues

- Demonstrates experience in general corporate matters, preferably in technology industries.

- Research, anticipate and guard company against legal risks

- Guide managers and ensure compliance with rules and regulations

- Structure, draft and review reports and other legal documents

- Represent company in legal proceedings (administrative boards, court trials etc.)

- Draft and administer all contracts

- Negotiate deals and attend company meetings

- Support the Associate General Counsel as directed

What do I need to qualify for this job-

- Law graduate (LL.B) from a reputed university with good academic credentials

- Proven comparable 8-11 years of law firm experience

- Proven background on corporate law (contract law, tax law, accounting, securities law, bankruptcy, intellectual property rights, licensing, zoning laws)

- Excellent negotiation and communications skills

- Administrative and managerial skills

- Analytical ability and strong attention to detail

- Computer skills

- Current licence to practise law
