Role : Procurement Manager

The person will be responsible for ensuring timely material procurement, scheduling, vendor management & cost optimization.

About Atomberg :

Atomberg Technologies is a techno commercial venture founded by IIT Bombay alumni. The company aspires to create a global brand in home appliance industry with its smart and energy efficient technologies. Our First product is a ceiling fan named Gorilla. Consuming just 28W, it is India's most energy efficient ceiling fan. We have already sold 20000 units and the feedback from the initial customers has been great. Within the next 2 years, we are planning to launch 2-3 new products in the smart and energy efficient electrical appliances segment.

Primary responsibilities :

- Handling complete production related material procurement & supplies.

- To ensure accurate and timely vendor schedule release.

- Regular vendor follow-ups and visits for timely vendor production and dispatches to ensure ZERO line stoppages.

- To establish long term supply contracts and examines and re-evaluates existing contracts.

- Track and report key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness.

- Discover the most profitable suppliers and initiate business partnerships.

- To aggressively involve in new part development processes and then ensure timely PPAP.

- Anticipate unfavorable events through analysis of data and prepare control strategies.

- Defining vendor production lead time and production capacities.

- Devise and employ fruitful sourcing strategies, finalize details of orders and deliveries.

- Negotiate with external vendors to secure the most advantageous terms

Experience/ Key skill set require :

- Proven working experience as a procurement manager. (Minimum 1 year)

- Knowledge of sourcing and procurement techniques as well as a dexterity in reading the market

- Talent in negotiations and networking

- Good knowledge of supplier or third party management software

- Aptitude in decision-making and working with numbers

- Experience in collecting and analyzing data

- Strong leadership capabilities
