The applicant must have at least 4 years experience in a reputed consulting/policy advisory firm. Additionally, the applicant should thrive in a dynamic setting and be interested in shaping and growing the organization. Willingness to take initiative and passion for making a dent in the development policy domain are essential for this role.  Title: Senior Consultant  Desired Profile:  Requirements/Qualifications:   i. MBA from a tier-I B-School (or)  ii. MPA, MPP from a top Public Policy School (or)  iii. Advanced Economics degree from a top Economics Department  Skills/Competencies:   i. Strong analytical abilities  ii. Structured thinking and project based decision making skills  iii. Excellent communication skills  iv. Excellent report writing skills. Prior experience of writing reports, creating client presentations and publishing research papers is essential   v. Strong aptitude for high quality research  vi. Ability to perform under pressure and meet deadlines  vii. Attention to detail  viii. Entrepreneurial attitude to handle challenging tasks; deal with circumstantial ambiguity and shoulder responsibility   ix. Demonstrated interest in Public Policy or Development issues   Description:  i. Project Management responsibility for one or more projects at a time  ii. Actively be involved in firm’s business development efforts  iii. Manage a team of consultants and analysts and ensure high quality outputs  iv. Direct research efforts  v. Writing reports and articles on policy and development issues  vi. Organizing conferences and workshops  The strongest applicants will have a demonstrated interest in analyzing public policy or development issues and wish to pursue a career development consulting.
