Associate - Venture Capital

This position entails researching various sectors, analysis of key metrics and working closely with portfolio companies.

The expectations, role and responsibilities of the position are as follows:

- Take ownership of the key operating /financial metrics for all portfolio companies & all analysis relating to the same.

- Research new developments, competitors etc. relating to the portfolio company.

- Identifying specific problems /areas of improvement in portfolio companies & the work along with the management team to help solve.

- Work along with the management team to help grow the business.

- Keeping the investing team appraised on new developments in the industry.

- Continually monitor and investigate macro and micro industry trends to recommend new sectors of technology for evaluation

Requirements:

- Five plus years deep experience in operations or consulting

- Strong record of academics with preferred ranking being amongst the top 5 percentile

- Will to work as a part of lead team

- Excellent interpersonal skills comfortable talking with a wide variety of entrepreneurs

- Exceptional analytical skills and business sense, with strong financial modelling capabilities

- Quick Learner & ability to build domain experience in short span of time
