Service Line - Lead Advisory (Front end IB)

Sector - Consumer Products, Retail & Healthcare (CRH) and Building Products

Location - New Delhi

Eligibility Criteria - 2010 / 11 / 12 batch MBA graduates may apply

Job Description & Detailed Eligibility Criteria:

Selected candidate is expected to play a key role in several client engagements by being a part of the Transaction Execution team in Private Equity and M&A transactions across sectors

Provide necessary assistance to the AVPs, VPs, Directors & the Partner by being highly responsive to their needs in the transaction execution process and getting involved in the following activities:

a) Collaterals - Preparation of Pitch book, Teaser document, Confidential Information

b) Financial Modelling & Analysis

c) Accounting, commercial and legal due diligence

d) Transaction documentation

e) Ideation & sectorial landscape preparation

f) Stay abreast with latest developments in the PE, M&A and capital raising segments

- Develop a strong understanding of the client organization and the sector in which the client operates and use this knowledge to improve the analysis of the financial parameters

- Interface appropriately with the client and provide constructive inputs in the transaction execution process

- Build strong relationships with relevant client representatives to ensure smooth information flow & aid in the transaction execution process

- Work seamlessly with several AVPs and VPs within the team and adapt to varied operating / management styles

- Contribute to internal initiatives that build value for the firm in the long term

- Mentor a team of Associates / Analysts by providing a holistic learning & working environment Skills, Experience & Qualifications:

- Strong foundational Finance skills with a solid understanding of the following:

a) Valuation Analysis

b) Pitch book & other requisite transaction collaterals

c) Financial Modelling

- Strong Academic Background - MBA from tier I institutes only; CA/CFA (Level II or above) preferable

- 3 - 5 years of Relevant work experience in Investment Banking / Due Diligence / transaction advisory practice of leading firms

- Reasonable understanding of strategic aspects of business

- Pleasant Personality with good written and oral communication skills

- Ability to work with multiple stakeholders under demanding situations
