Job Role :

- Tax advisory, Knowledge of Income Tax Act and the judicial precedents as well as have good drafting skills and logical thinking to assess the facts and apply the law and judicial precedents

- Transaction advisory, Understanding the transaction, suggest or evaluate the structure, examine its viability, suggest changes as per commercial requirement, negotiate tax provisions in the transaction documents, draft appropriate clauses in transaction documents and assist with completion of the transaction and post completion.

- Tax litigation support at ITAT and above including AAR, requiring very good understanding of the legal process, strategizing and also drafting submissions as well as briefing counsel with the most relevant points for arguing the matter.

- Good understanding of Income Tax Act and its interrelationship with the double taxation avoidance agreements.

- Good understanding of the legal basis of the provisions of the income tax law and how they are to be interpreted and applied.

- Good understanding of taxation of trusts.

Academic Qualifications : An LLB/CA degree, preferably an L.L.B with CA degree.

Experience : A certified LLB and CA with at least 2 to 5 years of post qualification experience.
