About our Client - Our client is a leading Indian Private Equity player. It is a sector agnostic firm and focuses on equity growth and mezzanine deals. They are looking to hire an Associate for their team based out of Mumbai
Job Description - As an Associate, you will be responsible for:
- Sourcing deals by interfacing with internal as well as external contacts, attending conferences, etc.
- Performing due diligence; building and interpreting financial models to estimate valuation and potential investment returns
- Writing investment recommendations and presenting the same to the investment committee
- Coordinating with legal counsel in order to review and negotiate economic and legal deal terms
- Monitoring the investment portfolio
The Successful Candidate:
- You will have an MBA from a top 5 B-school in the United States (the likes of a Wharton, Stanford, Harvard, Princeton, MIT) or from IIM / ISB in India
- You will have 2-3 years experience in front office investment banking or a top tier consulting firm
- Outstanding analytical and communication skills
